I used to do that. Count the seconds after thunder.
Kid stuff, I guess.
Like laying on the grass and watching the clouds pass.
I should do that again someday.
The only problem would be, would I ever get up again?

I can’t believe I missed this comment by you, Geraldine :) My apologies. I have several haiku blogs. This blog isn’t too active for a long time. I basically filled it up so big I thought it was too stuffed for people to read the haiku. Anyway, I see that you’re a vegetarian. Me, too… Again, my apologies for missing your comment. I have 4 indoor cats – it’s rough, but they’re my family.
